First, what is positive feeling?
“Positive feeling are feeling that we typically find pleasurable to experience“
For me, I enjoy simple things, positive for me is when I’m doing something I feel productive, it always give me a great feeling. Like, hell yes I have completed these things, I feel amazing to gain some knowledges or to treat myself some healthy stuffs. However, the hardest part is to start doing something productive.
I’m just like the other GenZ, surrounded by social media and all of the other fun things on the internet, that sometimes forgot what I need to be doing for the rest of the day. Especially working as a freelancer, give me more “me-time” than other office worker. So this is a chance for me to learn to be more discipline, and everyday when I did something productive I felt super great, feel like I have archived something I’ve been working hard for. For me, is that kind of feeling called “positive”

So what is productive to me?
Starting in the morning, have a nice break-fast and prepare some tea, I enjoy drinking tea and detox, I have no ideas why I like that more than milk tea and coke, maybe because of a vision of me becoming more healthy with a nice skin I guess 😀
And to getting my work done, usually I will give myself a few tasks per day to complete my pending work. And I love how I’m being focus and getting things done always faster then I’m expected, that leads to more “me-time” – so I felt great, I mean who doesn’t want some extra me-time?

For my “me-time”, first thing is study – study here means reading books or learn some courses, depends on how I feel that day, usually I will read book after a focus time on my work. And the best part about reading is that I can be able to grab my table and chair to the balcony so I can enjoy the wind, the sun, while giving myself some knowledges. Adding some Mozart music on my speakers, feel the vibe huh?
To learn some courses, I will need to take notes, maybe on my Ipad or on my notebook, which leads to a grateful feeling that I have all of the things that I need in order to learn more, like a nice pen, a nice notebook, smooth Ipad and apple pen, nice window light,… just like that, this grateful feeling also leads to enjoy studying, which make me feel productive -> so, finally positive

Then to understand more about myself, I will spend sometimes to write, sometimes I look back at what I have written in a few weeks, months, years before, I just fell in love with myself all over again, sounds like a narcissist, but I do feel that way – and it makes me feel like I’m doing a great job all of these years so that’s why have this feeling, otherwise I will feel embarrass or stupid for written it down. But thanks god that I’m not.
And the other things that make me feel positive is to open my favorite songs ; singing my lungs out ; have a nice meal – made by me of course ; or lighting scented candle ; taking a shower with my favorite soap ; spend time to do skincare, haircare ;…
Other than that, I enjoy the feeling that I’m treating myself, like buy me some nice fruits, go to hair salon, spas, I’m not really into buying clothes or shoes, just sometimes – because I feel like I have more than enough for now, there are some things that I have never touched and want to give away some items to clear my closet, until then I’m not really enjoy buying more stuffs, kinda learn to live a minimalism lifestyle

So I guess you’re get the ideas, I have million ways to feel positive and so do you, understand that sometimes life is hard that make you rarely have time to put your mind into thinking of these things, but just try to clear your mind just for a few minutes and thinking of what you have loved to do. I think there will lead you to some answers that might make you feel positive again.
